Exercise #3 (Building)
The last time CFCF released anything more than the odd remix or mixtape predates the start of this blog, so I’ve never really had a proper chance to articulate my love for Michael Silver’s wonderfully lush, dance-inflected music until now. A brand new, 8-piece “mini-album” dubbed Exercises is headed down the pipes, as Silver turns his attention away from balearic beats and shaker-rhythms, instead working out a series of contemplative piano-and-sytnh based instrumentals that draw inspiration out of the likes of Philip Glass, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and David Borden.
