Crash Landing
Just a quick hit today– with seemingly just about everything and everyone demanding my attention these days, squeezing in a new track has been proving more and more difficult, especially while I also try to whittle down all of the amazing 2011 releases into a top-10 list. But, better late than never, right?
“Crash Landing” is the first single off Rae Spoon‘s brand new LP, and continues the trend of his reinvention from muted acoustic songwriter to brightly-coloured electro-pop experimentalist. Disco-tinged percussion and dazzling keyboards blend together magnificently, lending Spoon an entirely new palette to paint with and affording him the boldest, most relevant steps of his career so far.
I Can’t Keep All Of Our Secrets will be out just after the new year, landing on January 10 thanks to Saved By Radio.
