Mellow Doubt
John O’Regan has been absolutely killing it this year. His Diamond Rings debut Special Affections earned him some massive attention, including some major props from Pitchfork and a place opening up for Robyn for the duration of her North American leg of her Body Talk tour this past winter. Now he’s getting set to take his glam-tastic act across the pond, starting with a limited edition 7″ single of Special Affections highlight “You & Me,” backed by a rendition of Teenage Fanclub’s “Mellow Doubt.”
Starting on November 18, Diamond Rings will be joining up with Junior Boys for their European tour, where you’ll be able to pick up a vinyl copy of the single. O’Regan’s domestic label Secret City will be handling the release at home, with physical copies hitting the streets on November 29.
Special Affections will be dropping into fine European retailers on November 1, via Astralwerks.
