Soft Signal

Okay, so this track isn’t exactly “new,” but I’m willing to bet that most of you haven’t heard it. “Dancing My Heart Out” is the somewhat-title track to Winter Gloves’ Heart Out EP that they released at the beginning of March. Made up of leftover ideas from the All Red sessions, Heart Out is three hard-hitting cuts that are anything but b-sides. And even though news of this record might be outdated, the band just put out a new video to accompany “Dancing My Heart Out,” and it’s great.

Directed by Dan Popa, the video adds a perfect visual element to fit the playfulness of both the track and the band themselves. The winding synth hook and chugging guitar serve as a great soundtrack one very serious water-balloon fight, building an energy that heats the edges of Charles F’s vocals and gives signal to the first signs of summer.
